President Confers India’s highest civilian Honours—Check The Full List Of Awardees

President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday conferred the Padma Awards 2025 on a total of 139 awardees. The awards, which are one of India’s highest civilian honours, are announced annually on the eve of Republic Day.

This year, the government has given seven Padma Vibhushan, 19 Padma Bhushan, and 113 Padma Shri awards.

This year, Padma Vibhushan has been awarded to Duvvur Nageshwar Reddy, Justice (Retd.) Jagdish Singh Khehar, Kumudini Rajnikant Lakhia, Lakshminarayana Subramaniam, MT Vasudevan Nair (Posthumous), Osamu Suzuki (Posthumous), and Sharda Sinha (Posthumous).

Also, singer Arijit Singh and cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin are among the Padma Shri recipients this year.

The awards are given in three categories: Padma Vibhushan (for exceptional and distinguished service), Padma Bhushan (distinguished service of higher order), and Padma Shri (distinguished service).
